MARGARETVILLE, NY, March 20, 2017 – The Catskill Watershed Corporation (CWC) will hold its Annual Meeting of member towns Tuesday, April 4 at 1 p.m. at Hanah Mountain Resort and Country Club, 576 West Hubbell Hill Rd., Margaretville.
A new video will be screened reflecting on the CWC’s achievements in the 20 years since the signing of the NYC Watershed Memorandum of Agreement which outlined the CWC’s water quality protection and community assistance programs.
Results of the election of two representatives to the CWC Board of Directors from Schoharie and Ulster Counties will be announced. There will be a slide show of CWC’s activities over the past year, and the 2016 Annual Report will be distributed.
The floor will then be open for questions and comments from representatives of member towns and villages, and the general public.
The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Directors will be held immediately following the Annual Meeting.
The public is cordially invited to attend both meetings. Inquiries are welcome at 845-586-1400. The CWC office, at 905 Main Street, Margaretville, is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The CWC is a non-profit, Local Development Corporation responsible for several environmental protection, economic development and education programs in the New York City Watershed West of the Hudson River.
